We are confessed personal finance geeks. We read the books, we log on to the sites, we diligently try to pay ourselves first. But we feel that freelancers get the short end of the personal finance advice stick. Most of the best books—and how we do love them—are written for people with jobs, and we don’t have those. Well, we don’t have “real” jobs, though we usually work upwards of 60 hours per week. We have things like gigs, contracts, and assignments. We know we’re not alone.
