Freelance Finance

So you want to be a freelancer. What kind do you want to be? Either you can have a steady job and freelance on the side, or you can be a full-time freelancer. Mire and I support ourselves entirely on freelancing. It is wonderful, inspiring, and challenging work, but it never fails to drive us crazy. After several years of doing this, we’ve come up with a number of rules and thoughts about how to do this successfully and survive. Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be posting our 16-Point Series for Successful Freelance Finance. They’re short points that hammer home what we all need to know about running our own businesses.
